Hobson Prior are currently seeking for an Associate Scientist - Technical Development to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on improving and prolonging the lives of many.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Key Responsibilities
  • For this position, you will offer documentation of raw data, review and comprehend regular outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will optimise current strategies and processes, reproduce and follow both published and formed tactics.
  • You will plan, conduct and document scientific experiments within the field of crystallisation, filtration and drying with respective analytics in cooperation with experienced team members.
  • As an Associate Scientist - Technical Development, you will seek for assistance and training from scientific expert and/or any other team members throughout the whole process.
  • Responsible for operating/utilising special equipment within lab automation, scale-up technologies, online analytics, etc.
  • Accountable for scheduling and conducting regular upkeep of instruments/equipment.
  • Any other assigned duties.
Requirements
  • Previous involvement in a lab technician role with familiarity or corresponding education, such as HTL or FH within analytics, chemistry, physical chemistry, etc.
  • Fluency in the German language.
  • Capable of performing precise and effective lab work.
  • Comprehension of HSE needs and safe and conscious work within a lab setting.
  • Acquaintance with modern analytical practices.
  • Past involvement within solid state analytics or crystallisation of solids would be ideal.
  • Familiarity with managing "highly active" compounds and qualification of analytical equipment would be preferable.
  • A motivated individual to work well with others in a team setting from any other functions and fields.
  • Expertise in data and digital attributes would be ideal.
