  • Improvement and development of the drone avionics, including electrical wiring, sensors, avionics box, battery and power management
  • Creating technical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, configurations, settings
  • Testing of components and sub-systems, focus on electrical components and systems
  • Support testing of the complete drone system
  • Root cause problem solving and technical documentation
  • Electrical assembly of components and systems for testing
  • Managing avionics component and avionics system suppliers
  • Taking over system design responsibility
  • Improving SwissDrones processes and procedures

What You Bring To The Job
  • Solid technical education, e.g. apprenticeship as aircraft electronic technician or equivalent
  • Relevant working experience in the avionics and electronics field
  • Experience in one of the major CAD programs for electronics
  • Experience in electrical design, manufacturing, assembly and testing
  • Experience of working in a high quality and safety requirements environment, e.g., aviation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or similar
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite
  • Hands on approach – can independently go through all the design stages from the requirements stage all the way to the installation and testing on the aircraft
  • High degree of flexibility and working in a dynamic and growing company
  • Willingness to improve company procedures and processes
  • En: C1 – Advanced
Nice-to-Haves
  • Higher education optional, e.g. in electrical engineering, avionics engineering, systems engineering or equivalent
  • Having worked under EASA Part 66 B2 License is a plus
  • Experience in software integration, configuration, programming or software development skills are a plus
  • Ge: B2 – Upper Intermediate
