Are you an expert in Azure Data and Databricks with a passion for tackling complex challenges? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Azure Data and Databricks Consultant. As a consultant, you will play a crucial role in architecting and implementing cutting-edge data solutions for our clients. This is a high-level position that demands exceptional technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.

The role is based in Zug, Switzerland. Travel might occasionally be required.
  • Design and develop advanced data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance to ensure data integrity and privacy.
  • Optimize and fine-tune existing data solutions for maximum performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in working with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.).
  • Proven expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark for big data processing and analytics.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or both.
  • In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.
  • Previous experience with data integration, data migration, and data synchronization.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and services in Microsoft Azure.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Azure certifications related to data engineering or data analytics.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and their data services.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying data applications.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Previous consulting experience in a client-facing role.
