Brief Job Description
  • Develop and maintain data framework that makes the data accessible and ready for analytics
  • Involved in Design and Implementation of data architecture relevant topics across the common part of the data platform
  • Maintain and model JSON based schemas and metadata to re-use it across the organization (with central tools)
  • Translate business requirements into data and engineering specifications
  • Develop data pipelines for Data Scientists (incl. MLOps)
Required Experience And Skills
  • Expert SQL skills, preferably in mixed environments (ie classic DWH and distributed)
  • Working automation and troubleshooting experience in Python using Jupyter Notebooks or common IDEs
  • Hands-on Big Data experience using common open source components (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Presto, NiFi, MinIO, Docker, Kafka)
  • Data preparation for reporting/analytics and visualization tools (eg Tableau, Power BI or Python based)
  • 5-10 years general experience with Data Architecture/Data Engineering
Preferable
  • Experience in banking or financial business
  • Solid Agile experience in Data related projects
  • On-prem Big Data solutions
  • Higher education (eg "Fachhochschule","Wirtschaftsinformatik")
  • Experience in large data migration projects
Softskills
  • Able to communicate with Senior Management level
  • Great Stakeholders Management
  • Open Communicator, proactive and team player
  • Good organizational skills
