BIM / Layout Engineer (m/f/d) 80 - 100 %

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

The main responsibility in this role is the layout engineering of high-end vertical transportation systems for global large high-rise projects and delivery of Building Information Modelling (BIM) models and layout drawings to the full satisfaction of our customers in time and quality. You will do this by means of established engineering tools and in particular BIM software.

Main Tasks Include
  • Creation of specific elevator models with all relevant lift shaft interfaces to the building and preparation of 2D elevator layout drawings
  • Verification of relevant vertical transportation system calculations
  • Compliance verification of technical solutions to applicable codes and standards
  • Review system configurations for relevant layout data before purchase order release
  • Planning and coordination of layout engineering tasks in project teams
  • Support sales engineering and custom design engineering regarding layout feasibility and optimization
  • Comply with all relevant internal regulations / processes and applicable codes

Further Requirements May Include
  • Degree as Draftsman (architect, construction, mechanical) with knowhow in the elevator industry
  • Professional design engineering experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the construction business
  • Understanding and reading architectural and structural engineering models and drawings
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of BIM method is an asset
  • Experience and operate with 3D CAD Software like Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Bentley, Vector Works
  • Expertise on Autodesk Revit is highly desirable
  • Working proficiency in English, any additional language of advantage
