A business Analyst with strong Markit EDM experience is required for a 12-month contract with a major Asset and Investment Manager based in Geneva. This is to work as part of a team implementing Markit EDM

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their data and workflows across a spectrum of financial products (Equities, Fixed Income, Reference Data, etc.)
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness and understanding of the product and new system functionalities in developing client solutions
  • Assess the current state and develop target process flows, use cases and workflows to support the design and parametrization of EMD solution
  • Assist the vendor with design, configuration, process and user story mapping, collaborate with build, test and business teams for solution verification
  • Document, analyse and map the different data feeds that populate/retrieve data to/from the IHS Markit EDM product suite

Experience:

  • 5-7 years experience working within Asset & Investment Management
  • Must have experience working on Markit platform
  • Hands-on experience of working on an EDM implementation or migration gained across buy-side and sell-side environments
