The Following Tasks Await You In This Role

To expand our Business Development Team in Bern, we are looking for an experienced and well-connected Sales Manager (f/m/d) for the Public Sector.
  • Establishing and expanding the network of decision-makers in the Public Sector
  • Identifying opportunities and IT trends in the Public Sector based on the current challenges at the interface of business and IT of our customers
  • Developing IT solutions within the scope of acquisition and business development
  • Collaborating with our Marketing Team on news, campaigns, and events
  • Representing AdNovum at selected events
  • Establishing and communicating with strategic partnerships (co-creation) for a joint, sustainable increase in business value and profitable growth
  • Developing sales stories
  • Preparing commercial offers in close cooperation with our Engineers and User Experience experts as well as presentation of the offers («Sales Pitches»)
  • Development and maintenance of the sales pipeline, management and implementation of the sales process as well as follow-up on offers in cooperation with the specialist departments until contract conclusion
  • Close cooperation with project teams and service managers
This is you
  • Higher education in (business) informatics, business administration or sales
  • At least five years of experience in the field of sales and business development, preferably in the Public Sector
  • Sound experience in the IT service environment
  • Interest in and knowledge of new technologies, methods and possibilities
  • Sound business management knowledge for the development of business cases
  • Proven negotiation skills, problem-solving competence, very good communication skills, service- and customer-oriented way of thinking and working
  • Initiative, ambition, independence and team player mentality
  • Fluency in German and English
