About Authena

We make the world a more connected, transparent and authentic place by enabling instantaneous verifiable trust across entire value chains.

We are a Swiss company founded in 2018 to support brands in fighting against counterfeiting and diversion through an advanced Authenticity and Traceability as a Service platform. Today, by combining the power of blockchain with multiple proprietary IoT devices, we protect the authenticity, prevent the diversion and provide real time traceability for both physical and digital products and assets such as NFTs.

The problems we solve with our technology are cross-vertical and products equipped with it are already in 72 countries. We work with industry leaders to support them in the fight against counterfeiting and product diversion and enabling a revolutionary type of connection between the producer and the end-consumer.

Our core team is based in Switzerland and we have team members already in Argentina, Italy, Poland, Serbia, Ukraine, US and UK. Our headquarters is in Zug and from our operational office in Horgen, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake of Zurich.

What your mission looks like:

You will disrupt traditional markets by bringing the light of Authena technology and services into a world dominated by the darkness of fake goods and lack of supply chain transparency.

In this journey, you will face enemies such as fraudsters, illicit traders, greenwashers and

status quo supporters.

However, you will not be alone. You will work at the forefront of innovation, with fellow visionaries and passionate technology gurus that share the same vision for changing the world.

You will stretch your comfort zone on a daily basis and get comfortable in accepting growth both professionally and personally.

How your hero day will look like:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with customer in the luxury field
  • Promote and sell the company’s products and/or services to customers in assigned territory, industry or for specific accounts
  • Educate customers and multiple stakeholders in the luxury market about the Authena mission and value proposition
  • Create memorable positive experiences for your customers, using empathy, story telling, immersive demo techniques, etc.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and agreements and negotiate with customers
  • Collaborate with the product management team to determine product roadmap prioritizations
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to select and engage with strategic partners
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and develop strategies against competitive threats
  • Participate at international fairs and events
  • Celebrate successes and learn from failures

What superpowers we are looking for:

  • A dynamic and motivated personality with excellent communication, both written and oral, presentation and networking skills
  • A minimum of three years proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the luxury industry
  • Established network in the luxury market
  • Good and empathetic listener, laser-focused on customer success
  • Experience selling with a consultative approach and excellent negotiating skills
  • Ability to translate customers’ needs into a compelling vision and roadmap
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment
  • French (mother tongue) and English are mandatory

This role requires an outward-looking personality with a demonstrable interest and passion for business development and luxury goods, with the ability to work collaboratively within the team.

Minimal business travel or work outside office is required.
