For our Data & Integration team (ICT & Digital division) in Lugano we are looking for a:



BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE EXPERT (Full-time /permanent job)



Responsibilities include:



Manage changes and projects with adequate change/project management methods
Understand and analyses business requirements, evaluate possible options, research and propose suitable solutions in multiple scenarios
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and deliver the system to the agreed specification
Act as an intermediary between IT development and business users, identifying benefits and weaknesses during the design, development and testing activities
Contribute in design, maintain and build data Warehouse architecture
Develop, maintain and complete project documentation, functional specifications and design specifications
Operate and solve problems of business applications including monitoring of jobs, interfaces and server functions
Facilitate Change Management decisions and adjust assignments and expectations
Train business users in using new tools and application.
Research and adopt best practices and standard procedures in solution development


The successful candidate has the following qualifications:



Proven track record in a similar role for 4+ years
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Development
Solid background in business functional areas, business process issues understanding and data analysis
Experience of working in a multinational organization
Effective orientation in organizing task and activities adopting strong interpersonal skills Capabilities and behaviors
Ability to communicate highly complex and multi-faceted concepts and ideas in a simple, clear and concise way, both in written and verbal formats
Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and meet tight deadlines
Deep knowledge of current Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing design methodologies is required
Profound knowledge of SQL language
Solid knowledge of Extract Transform and Load concepts and processes
Experience in creating reports, data visualization solutions and dashboards
Experience in software development with the following tools:
Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and databases administration
Solid experience with Visual analytics techniques and tools, Tableau knowledge is a plus
Azure Data Platform knowledge can be a plus
Microsoft DevOps / .NET / C# / ASP.NET can be plus
Office 365 and Cloud Microsoft tools knowledge can be a plus.
Experience with big data technologies and Artificial Intelligence is a plus
Good knowledge of English is required.
