About Our Client

Our client is a privately-owned investment firm, dedicated to develop and promote an ambitious real-estate project in Switzerland.

We currently recruit their future CFO - Project Finance Director.

Job Description

Part of a multi-discipline project team, the CFO - Project Finance Director will build financial guidance to the company and partner with the CEO, investors and external stakeholders to support the execution of the project.

  • Accounting, Controlling & Reporting:

  • Manage Staff Accountants and develop a high performing finance team,
  • Oversee the full accounting lifecycle of legal entities,
  • Implement efficient procedures (accounting, billing, auditing) and perform internal controls,
  • Ensure compliance with local reporting requirements, including tax filling,
  • Lead the conversion from local GAAP to IFRS,
  • Co-pilot financial performance of the company by measuring and analyzing results,
  • Initiate and execute business efficiencies projects,* Financing & Treasury:

  • Be responsible for Cash Management at group level, drive cash forecast activities,
  • Be the interface for all financial partners,
  • Source, negotiate and structure financing and refinancing deals with banks/financial institutions. In a start-up phase, responsibilities are expected to change and our client encourages individual initiative in the scope of responsibilities.

The Successful Applicant

We look for an entrepreneurial profile, able to effectively deliver concrete results in a fast-paced environment- Bachelor/Master degree in Finance / Business Management with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, a total experience of 10 years would be beneficial, - Ideally experienced in Real Estate, in Switzerland, - Strong experience of Financing activities, experienced in interacting with commercial banks and real estate funds, - Fluent in French, English. Any other European language a plus, - Work permit holder a must.
