  • Manage requirements on aircraft and sub-system level
  • Convert requirements to best in class design solutions for the drones
  • Ensure that performance, cost and schedule expectations are met
  • Define and coordinate development and improvements of the drone drive train, mechanical and structural parts as well as the drone avionics, including electrical wiring, sensors, avionics box, battery and power management in close coordination with other team members
  • Take over direct “hands-on” responsibility for particular sub-systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (primarily EASA) for the particular drone application
  • Coordinate requirements and design solutions of external sub-system suppliers
  • Support system integration in CAD and defining system boundaries
  • Review design progress and maturity
  • Plan testing and certification activities and monitor progress
  • Present technical program status to the leadership team

What You Bring To The Job
  • Higher education, e.g. in aerospace engineering or systems engineering
  • Advanced experience in aircraft design and systems engineering
  • Experience in requirements management
  • Testing and Aircraft Certification experience
  • Experience in one of the major CAD programs
  • High degree of flexibility and working in a dynamic and growing company
  • Willingness to improve company procedures and processes
  • En: C1 – Advanced
Nice-to-Haves
  • Having worked in the drone industry and experience with corresponding regulatory requirements
  • Experience in software integration, configuration, programming or software development skills
  • Project Management Basics
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly and testing
  • Experience of working in a high quality and safety requirements environment, e.g., aviation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or similar
  • Ge: B2 – Upper Intermediate
