Our client, a major private bank in Geneva is looking for a Network Engineer to work on both current and new infrastructure projects covering Cisco IOS, LAN, WAN, MAN and WiFi.

Working as part of a highly experience technical team, you will manage the evolution of telephone systems (CUCM) working from 1st to 3rd line support and putting in corrective measures to ensure the continued improvement of the system and your service.

A confident and competent communicator, you will work with a number of external suppliers such as integrator, hardware and software suppliers supporting the bank’s different sites.

With previous experience in the banking sector, you are used to working in a regulated environment and know that one small change can have an impact across a number of different teams. You will be able to manage such situations from both a human and technical perspective and ensure a smooth transition when required.

You will be working on a shift basis and will be required to work on call within the current rotation plan.

You are expected to be fluent in French with a very good level of English and used to working in a complex, international environment. Previous experience of working in a bank you be a clear advantage.

Due to the urgency of this position, we are only able to accept candidates based in Switzerland or from the EU. Given the requirement to be on-call, candidates living close to Geneva would be preferred, but not essential.
