The Role

The Client Advisor is the face of our Private Banking business, opening up J.P. Morgan’s entire Wealth Management platform to clients. Client Advisors contribute to the growth of the business through deepening existing client relationships and new client acquisition. This starts with working with clients to identify their goals and then using J.P. Morgan’s investments, banking, lending and financial planning platform to put forward the right solutions. A core understanding of these products/services and an ability to clearly communicate them with clients is vital. The client Advisor also needs to be comfortable coordinating J.P. Morgan’s vast resources, across multiple teams, to deliver a complete wealth management solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with our clients by thoroughly understanding their needs, developing thoughtful solutions and delivering them an exceptional client experience.
  • Drive the business results of your own book of business by deepening existing client relationships and working with the rest of the team on new client acquisition.
  • Provide holistic advice across a client’s entire balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, lending solutions and other banking needs.
  • Conduct investment reviews with clients to validate investment objectives, prepare recommendations and ensure that proposed solutions appropriately fulfil client goals.
  • Manage each client relationship to ensure that the client has a completed profile and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced, specifically adhering to J.P. Morgan Risk and Control Management policies, regulatory guidelines and security measures.

Your Background and Skillset
  • A self-starter that is well organised, articulate and takes pride in what you do.
  • Several years’ experience working in Private Banking/Wealth Management.
  • Strong relationship management skills with previous business development experience - including profiling, negotiation and asking for referrals proactively.
  • An ability to manage and grow your own book of business.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial markets, investment products, credit, banking and wealth advisory concepts.
  • Achievement oriented, focused on exceeding goals with sufficient attention to detail.
  • Great team player that is excited to join a young and growing team.
  • Impeccable sense of ethics and values, with an ability to adapt to an ever changing regulatory environment.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic is not required but would be beneficial.
