As the Clinical Product Marketing Manager, you will leverage your radiation oncology background to help develop the messaging and go to market strategies for Varian’s software product line. Additionally, you will collaborate with product management, regional marketing teams, and global sales to help ensure successful adoption of all current and future product releases.

Responsibilities
  • Master’s degree in medical physics or Certified Medical Dosimetrist required
  • Develop and work with key clinical partners to increase representation at national and international conferences and presence in scientific publications
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and trends including competitor products.
  • Generate marketing materials and sales training content for use by downstream regional/geographic marketing teams worldwide.
  • Identify market needs and opportunities via customer research, competitive analyses, and industry expertise.
  • Develop marketing plans and strategy to establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
  • Represent the product line as a subject matter expert at trade shows, KOL visits, scientific meetings, and industry working groups.
Qualifications
  • Must have one of the following: Master’s degree in medical physics or Certified Medical Dosimetrist
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
  • Experience with Eclipse™ software products strongly preferred.
  • Medical device marketing experience desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for product demonstration, customer training, and support.
  • Ability to explain complex technical problems with clinically oriented managers and customers.
  • Proficient in using business tools such as: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Available to travel up to 35% to U.S. and international destinations and flexibility to work extended schedules, including some weekends.
