  • Analyzing molecular data from routine clinical genetic testing of tumor samples
  • Preparing detailed reports with test results critical to patient care
  • Collaborating in a multidisciplinary team to continuously develop bioinformatics pipelines for data analysis
  • Applying scientific and clinical expertise to analyze and interpret test results
  • Responding to queries related to molecular testing and providing expert advice to healthcare professionals
  • Conducting quality control and validation
  • Making significant contributions to workflow improvements through the application of new techniques, methods, and pipeline developments
  • Support education and training
  • Participating in clinically oriented scientific projects

Das bringen Sie mit

  • PhD or MSc in Life Sciences (biology, medicine, genetics) with experience in data analysis
  • OR PhD in bioinformatics, physics, statistics, or mathematics
  • Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies (preferably Illumina) and genomic data analysis
  • Good understanding of clinical applications of genomic technologies
  • Experience in analyzing genetic variants is an advantage
  • Experience with computer languages (command line, R, or Python) is advantageous
  • FAMH degree is advantageous but not required
  • English fluency and good German knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong service mentality and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Responsible, resilient, and an independent way of working
