On behalf a market leading company with a globally recognised brand, Swisslinx are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect with AWS experience to join a cross functional team in St Gallen.

As a key member of a diverse and cross border Marketing and Sales Architecture team you will drive the continuous development of a business integral integration platform.

This will include the following:

• Design secure, scalable and reliable solutions that drive operational excellence and enable seamless customer interaction with across physical and digital channels.
• You provide technical guidance and craft directions for building the architecture, along with implementing the best practices and latest cyber security standards.
• Work with various cross-functional teams to define the end-to-end integrations in the Marketing and Sales middleware, connecting core systems (SAP, Salesforce, Workday etc.) and exposing cloud services to internal and customer-facing applications.
• Understand stakeholders’ needs, as opposed to wants, and clearly explain risks and trade-offs of possible solutions.
• Evaluate and design scalable cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring compliance with security and architecture standards.
• Take charge of the integrity of the architecture by finding the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility, long-term sustainability, and agile delivery, without compromising quality, security and reliability.
• Constantly assess new technologies and techniques for practical application to business problems and strategic initiatives, as well as identify potential improvements of the existing system landscape.
  
  

As the perfect candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or in a related field of study.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Architecture role with system integration, enterprise architecture, or software development background
• Background in design and implementation of cloud solutions on AWS
• Experience with agile development methodologies and testing approaches, distributed version control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of integration technologies and patterns of SAP and Salesforce is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, structured approach to problem solving, and desire to continuously explore new technologies
• Ability to adaptively communicate with developers, other architects, management as well as business stakeholders
• Fluency in English
