CONTEXT

For the last few years, Richemont has been conducting a fast pace cloud transformation to accommodate our steady business’s growth. Today we are moving forward to the next level of cloud architecture, by leveraging multi cloud providers and providing a large variety of native services to our different Maisons.

As Cloud Solutions Engineer you will be part of the cloud solutions team within the Hosting Services department. Dealing with a wide audience of engineers and technical experts internally, you will also be in touch with our business partners and our Maisons. This position is to strengthen Cloud Solutions team as more and more workloads are brought to the cloud, therefore managing a large set of cloud providers.

You will contribute identifying provisioning requirements, set best practices, develop infrastructure and tools that enable the usage of our standard cloud providers. And enable initiatives by providing advisory to project teams.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
  • Contribute to the definition of standards and good practices on the cloud foundation of Richemont.
  • Work hand in hand with projects and products counterparts to guide them through the cloud transformation within Richemont by using automation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to discover opportunities and improvement points, map vision & requirements to specific products and components.
  • Actively participate in the standardization of our architecture offers and contribute to the implementation of complex and smart automation and infrastructure as code.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
  • Excellent communication skills and autonomy into following task and assist projects
  • Fluent in English mandatory only, other language a plus
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Engineer in an international environment
  • Deep knowledge of cloud providers, especially Alicloud and GCP. Azure and AWS are a plus.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code automation using Packer, Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, etc; with configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, Ansible or an equivalent.
  • Experience with coding and scripting, including Python, bash, RestAPI.
  • Good understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model with experience and passion to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, delivering features in small time duration and utilizing automation whenever possible.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC processes, cloud operation and support (ITIL) service delivery with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.
  • Good analytical thinking and skills to report efficiently to a wide audience
