Position

Joining a small Geneva team, that works closely with the slightly larger team in Zurich, this role sits within the bank’s Financial Crime Compliance team, but is broad and generalist in nature.

Tasks To Include, But Not Limited To
  • Participating in the process of account opening
  • Analysing reputational and regulatory risks, including preparation of assessment for the top Management
  • Controlling, clarifying, and assessing higher-risk transactions, as well as those related to sanctions (transactional monitoring)
  • Participating in the process of periodic reviews for higher risk clients and PEPs
  • Acting as dedicated contact for the Front and for external providers for Financial Crime Compliance matters
  • Handling of AML investigations, including preparation of suspicious activity reports for the MROS
  • Supporting the Front with the applicable regulations, in particular the MLA, the MLO, the CDB and internal directives
Profile
  • At least 4 years’ experience in compliance from Swiss private banking
  • CAS Compliance Diploma or equivalent higher education at tertiary level
  • Excellent knowledge of Swiss banking regulations, in particular AML and CDB
  • A dynamic, young, warm and grounded person who is a good team player, but also autonomous
  • A stable career path behind you thus far
  • Good communication skills and comfortable facing off to front office and knowing how to behave, good etiquette, looking the part etc
  • You are proactive, flexible and good at taking initiative, acting with pragmatism and rigor
  • Fluent French and fluent English (both spoken and written); any other languages a plus depending
