Your teamCorporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation & Digital, Risk and Tax departments.
In this role, you will work with compliance experts and be responsible of reviewing PEP and High Risk client relationships, as well as carrying out embargo related activities and analysis.
Your role
- Performing periodical reviews of PEP and High Risk clients in accordance with AML standards.
- Working on all issues related to sanctions and embargoes, including payment filtering, regulatory watch, and support and training for employees/relationship managers.
- Preparing relevant documentation summarising the review analysis.
- Requesting clarification when needed and ensuring proper follow-up and relevant analysis.
- Presenting specific cases to the Bank’s senior management.
- Carrying out ad hoc projects relating to the team’s activities, in collaboration with the Team Head.
- Providing support to first line of defence functions.
- Staying regularly informed about changes in regulations related to AML activities and embargoes.
- At least three years’ experience in compliance or similar functions.
- Strong interest in AML related topics.
- Excellent knowledge of the financial and regulatory environment.
- Strong grasp of the legal issues of compliance.
- Rigorous and well organised, precise and able to communicate succinctly.
- Strong team player, able to work in teams and collaborate with different departments.
- Strong ethics and respect for the Bank’s values.
- Fluent in French and English, with strong writing skills in both languages.
- Must be resident in Switzerland.
