About the role

Since 1985, we have been a synonym for professional and successful congress organisation and hold an extensive and continuously expanding network that’s bursting out of Europe.
As one of the world’s leading professional congress organisers (PCO), we offer a wide portfolio of housing and PCO services from logistics to on-site management and from advanced web solutions to association management.


Key responsibilities:

  • Correspondence with event delegates (answering questions, booking services, managing payment…) during the preparation phase.
  • Database management, setup, and updates in our event software
  • Coordination with suppliers
  • Onsite support during congresses (abroad)
  • Keeping track of and reporting on project progress.
  • Supporting the administration of the scientific program
  • Completing any tasks assigned by the line manager in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Supports the Congress Manager and Client Relations Executive in any financial matters related to a project
  • Executes market research for the topics of: source market trends, source market competition, destination market competition, destination market trends, product ideas and descriptions
  • In charge of collection and dissemination of market research (source and destination market)
  • Develop a strong knowledge of a selected number of destinations
  • Gain profound experience in applying execution excellence principles
  • Personal development in project management
  • Learn Congress software and be able to use all its functionalities
  • Follows all processes, procedures, and training as required by the department, Kuoni Tumlare Congress organization
  • Supports the integration of sustainability into the division’s workflow, providing feedback and support to the Sustainability Manager where necessary.
  • Considers the environmental, social, and economic impact of office/business activities and attempts to combat any negative results
  • Ensure all business activities comply with relevant financial, industry compliance, legislative, legal demands, and ethical standards of the organisation



  • Bachelor degree in tourism / business administration / marketing / event management
  • Fluency in French
  • Fluency in English and at least 1 or 2 other European languages ( German, Spanish)
  • Strong IT literacy
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Time management, flexibility
  • Project management skills
  • Open-mindedness and ability to learn new things
  • Customer focus attitude
  • A clear communicator who is ambitious, hardworking and creative minded
