Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Construction Manager to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis. For more information, please get in touch now!Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Key Responsibilities
  • For this role, you will handle all the company’s owned works and arrange them with the designated EPCM company, which involves mechanical, electrical, ductwork, etc.
  • Guide external planning teams as well as construction organisations allocated to the company where not scope of EPCM.
  • When required, you will handle technical and commercial discussions with company providers with the company’s procurement team.
  • Produce weekly reports and lookaheads on works to be accomplished in conjunction with the EPCM.
  • To accomplish mechanical achievement and drive punch list to closure with EPCM and individual contractor organisations, you will hand system walkdowns.
  • You will arrange and control the service suppliers and providers, the individual work steps and the material flows.
  • Guarantee that the project goals cost, deadlines, quality and safety of the allocated construction projects are completed.
  • Any other assigned duties.
Key Skills
  • Attained a structured way of thinking with the ability to resolve issues.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Works well in a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in a civil engineering, architecture, or any other pertinent engineering field.
  • At least 10 years if experience in a similar position.
  • Acquaintance with handling large industrial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with handling pharmaceutical construction projects, this involves cleanroom construction up to CMP grade C (ISO 8).
  • Expertise and prior involvement in Navis Works 3D building information management software.
  • Know-how of project scheduling and using Primavera P6 or MS Project to do so.
  • Know-how of clean and black utility needs for a biopharmaceutical organisation.
  • Fluency in both the German and English languages.
