My duties

  • Change management planning and implementation: Evaluate change impact and organizational readiness for the workstreams under the COVAX program and help develop a compelling vision for the future state. Develop the change management strategy and plan and drive the implementation of the plan, owning and driving the action steps and timeline to accomplish the agreed change strategy. Monitor the implementation plan, measuring outcomes and adjusting ongoing activities as needed to continue reinforcing adoption.
  • Change communication planning and implementation: Develop and implement project-specific communication plans that: deliver timely messages and materials aligned with key milestones; ensure stakeholders receive consistent information about what is important to them; and provide a mechanism for leaders and employees to share feedback and ask questions. Based on a clear understanding of the needs of the various stakeholder groups, develop key messages explaining the overarching change and vision, as well as audience-specific messages to support key milestones, and deploy them through the most appropriate channel according to a clear editorial calendar.
  • Training planning and implementation: Identify the skills and capabilities that staff need in the desired future state of a project and recognise any gaps that exist. Develop training strategies and approaches, leveraging internal and external resources as appropriate. Coordinate the implementation of training plans and support and facilitate training interventions where appropriate. Provide input into training format and content optimisation, as necessary. Coordinate and deliver training documentation and live sessions.
  • Stakeholder mobilisation planning and implementation: Communicate with staff about business reasons and nature of change. Gather, understand, and help minimize reluctance, uncertainties, people risk, and frustration related to change. Communicate on the impact of the change and people future role and responsibilities in the change
  • Leadership engagement planning and implementation: Build coalition of support with senior management and line managers, coach and train leaders for change management understanding, implementation and sponsorship. Identify key SME’s to support the change management workstream and lead team to support the change management activities

My qualifications

  • Certification or equivalent in change management is required
  • Prosci or CCMP certified is preferred
  • Certification or equivalent in project management is preferred
  • Profound experience in change management, in technology-driven transformations, designing and implementing comprehensive change plans which increase employee change adoption
  • First project management experience, preferably managing projects in the IT space
  • Experience working with / good understanding of key technology platforms, e.g., O365, SAP, Salesforce
  • Ability to analyse situations and people impacts, formulate recommendations, and drive implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office tools for reporting purposes.
  • Hands on experience with a variety of technologies – a self-starter with new technologies.
  • Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Ability to translate technical /project communications in a positive, benefit-oriented and user-friendly way, treating all individuals with fairness and respect
  • Show great drive and commitment to the organisation mission; inspire others
  • Written and spoken fluency in English & French would be an asset
