Company BackgroundRUSAL is a leading company in the global aluminium industry, producing metal with a low carbon footprint. 90% of the Company’s aluminium is produced from renewable electricity. We are looking for a Contract Administrator, who will actively support our sales in EMEA and join one of the best commercial team in base metals.
The purpose of the role
To ensure contract execution - place production orders, schedule deliveries, issue commercial documents, control customers’ exposure, monitor payment receipts and provide excellent service to the customers.
Position Responsibilities
- Managing supply chain under the contract to ensure on time deliveries;
- Scheduling deliveries; releasing material from the warehouses;
- Ensure timely receipt of production declarations/call-offs from the customers.
- Invoicing customers. Control of incoming/outgoing payments; control of pricing confirmations issued by hedging desk;
- Arranging document flow as required by the contract (releases, warehouse receipts, B/L, insurance certificates, others);
- Support customers and provide information on availability of metal in production, transit and on stock, documents, technical/quality issues, delivery timing, etc.
- Monitoring of financial schemes per each customer to ensure continuous utilization of financial lines;
- Assess and monitor execution of the contracts and customers performance and timely inform supervisor and trader in case of non-performance issues or risks on non-performance.
- Maintain good relationships with customers and strive to improve customer satisfaction.
- Solid educational background (BA);
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferably in commodity trading;
- Very good understanding of financial and payment instruments (L/C, trade finance), INCOTERMS 2020, foreign trade, import / export operations;
- Basic understanding of LME and hedging operations;
- Proficient in English. Turkish or Russian language is an advantage;
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, SAP;
- Proactive team player with excellent communication, organizational and planning skills, attention to details, ability to work efficiently under pressure both in a team and independently, result-oriented.
- The candidate should have Swiss/EU citizenship or valid Swiss working permit
