Operational Transfer Pricing Controller 70 %

Your contribution
In this challenging and important role you are the interface between controlling, tax and transfer pricing and responsible to manage the following matters:



• Ensuring that the transfer pricing policy is correctly reflected in the financial statements of legal entities
  • Planning, budgeting and controlling transfer prices for all Tecan products and services worldwide in accordance with customs and tax law
  • Performing calculations & analysis of proposed transfer pricing adjustments to ensure the material intercompany transactions are in line with the arm’s length standard
  • Assessing transfer prices and their parameters within the framework of the budget
  • Analysing and approving single pricing request in line with the group’s policies and methodologies
  • Quarterly/yearly review of the reconciliation of intercompany accounts from a transfer pricing / tax perspective.
  • Liaising on a regular basis with Finance teams to ensure intercompany transactions are accounted for correctly in the P&L and Balance Sheet, to reduce transfer pricing risks.
  • Working closely with Transfer Pricing Manager to secure that all intercompany transactions are priced correctly and comprehensively documented.
  • Assisting in the annual preparation and submission of Country-by-Country Reporting.
  • Monitoring and where possible improving the efficiency and effectiveness of transfer pricing processes.


Your background

• University degree in Finance or Economics
  • 3+ years of experience as an accountant or controller in a MNE or in a large public accounting firm
  • Experience with SAP
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Data analysis and reporting: Structure large amounts of data into clear and concise reports. Ability to analyse financial reports
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact as part of a team as well as with various external and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
