Our Team

The Geneva Credit Platform services and its Covenant Monitoring & Reporting team are part of Private Banking Operations. The team works closely with the Lending Solutions Team, Underwriting Team and Credit Executives. The main focus of the Covenant Monitoring & Reporting Team is to setup and monitor covenants and other client specific conditions, timely escalate any covenant breaches in line with the internal credit procedures and policies, perform regular, ad-hoc and regulatory reporting tasks, keeping first class client service in mind.

The Role

Specific Duties Include
  • Review of Credit Facility Agreements to identify covenants
  • Setup and monitoring of covenant compliance and other client specific conditions
  • Escalation to relevant parties of covenant breaches
  • Setup of special monitoring
  • Review and approval of arbitrages and redemptions from a credit standpoint
  • Ensure controls and procedures are solid and properly followed
  • Keep all procedures current and up to date
  • Build and maintain partnership with our peers and stakeholders
  • Produce regular, ad-hoc and regulatory reporting from Credit perspective including creation of decks for Senior Management committees
Qualifications
  • Good Understanding of private banking operations as well as credit products
  • Experience with credit related legal agreements
  • Languages: full working proficiency in English
  • Proactive, responsive team player who can thrive in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Strong commitment, sense of integrity and exceptional drive
  • Ability to prioritize, take initiative and meet tight deadlines
  • Aptitude to digest large amounts of information and use it to develop innovative solutions
  • Possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate efficiently also in a virtual team environment
  • Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in any programming language (e.g. Python) is a plus
