Who we are looking for
This is a high visibility client-facing role in our Custody Client Service team in Zurich-Switzerland. We’re looking for a subject matter expert with multi-year working experience in the custody, cash operations or settlements area with a high client service orientation to manage complex client and business queries. Your skills include fluency in German and English language skills. Ideally you are a proficient user of various State Street systems and applications.

What you will be responsible for
As Custody Client Service Representative you will
  • Handle client relationships and sentiment via daily interaction with client counterparts
  • Be accountable for quality, accuracy and timeliness of service levels
  • Monitor and oversee the performance of Shared Service teams/Operations as it relates to the overall service delivery for the client. Facilitate communication between entities
  • Management of client facing issues including escalation, reporting outages and reputation or risk impacting workstream items.
  • Ensure prompt follow up on exception situations and facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk to the corporation and deliver excellent service to client
  • Provide project management support for client related initiatives.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • The successful candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in custody and fund administration environment with significant exposure to both BAU tasks and Client Service.
  • Practical knowledge of financial market activities and transactions
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong understanding of State Street’s products, services, technology/system and operational environment is a plus
