  • maintain and develop the DB2 data layer with a particular focus on performance and information security
  • evolve our advanced data analytics (Python) capabilities to help front staff and risk managers focusing their attention on where it matters most.
  • support front staff and risk managers who use our reporting and get a better understanding of their challenges and needs
Your teamYou will be working for the Data Analytics & Reporting team within Business Risk Services for Global Wealth Management. We are a small team servicing hundreds of internal customers all around the world. We analyze data, business processes and requirements and build state-of-the-art dashboards and risk scoring solutions. We interact with front office management, risk managers, and compliance, but also with IT developers and infrastructure. Doing all this out of one team is difficult, but also interesting and satisfying.We aim at delivering fast results while maintaining strategic focus, and favor prototyping over extensive analysis.   • strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to quickly understand complex business processes as well as focus on details
  • strong skills on business warehousing, e.g. SQL/DB2
  • experience in advanced data analytics techniques (preferably with Python)
  • experience with business intelligence and reporting solutions like Tableau, PowerBI or Microstrategy as a plus
  • comfortable with challenging situations, keep a cool head amid unexpected problems, and you have an unwavering determination to do whatever it takes to solve issues
  • able to self-reliantly prioritize tasks and able to quickly change your priorities if required by the situation
  • an effective teamplayer, able to maintain good relationships with the broad range of stakeholders our team interacts with, and to adapt the language to your counterpart.
  • curious about all sorts of systems and processes and have an insatiable appetite to learn new things about tools, processes, our business and our organization
