To achieve this goal, we are looking for a talented Data Analyst - you! - to join the SonarCloud team.

On a daily basis, you will

Design and develop the analytics domain of SonarCloud Be responsible for the data catalog from a functional perspective Own the data catalog and manage metadata additions and ensure they are aligned to the company needs Own the internal data classification schema and ensure it is applied to all sources You will continuously enhance the data catalog Collaborate with the data engineers which are responsible for the data catalog implementation Make sure that key metrics are easily accessible to everyone, are properly defined, verified, and have a single source of truth Make sure that we record enough information to be able to understand issues and opportunities Be proactive in the data exploration of the data catalog and offer insights to various stakeholders (CTO, Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Languages Team, SonarCloud team, etc.) Collaborate with stakeholders to specify the analytics they need based on business and technical requirements Own the data mapping of data elements across journeys and applications

The skills you will demonstrate

A solid experience at developing analytics components: exposed to big data architecture essentials, data catalog modeling, SQL queries, dashboarding, data lake, etc. You see yourself as a data explorer and the one who maintains the data catalog in one consistent piece You are motivated by the functional aspects of services You are a friendly, enthusiastic, and organized team player. You actively share your knowledge, give and receive feedback to improve the team and yourself You are fluent in English, both written and spoken Experience in big data, data lake, dashboarding, multidimensional modeling, schema modeling, data exploration Proficient in visualization tools such as, but not limited to: Tableau, AWS Insights or Looker SQL, Python, Git, Jupyter

Office location

SonarSource is a company with offices in Geneva (Switzerland), Annecy (France), and Bochum (Germany). The role can be based in either office.
