DATA ARCHITECT/DATA ENGINEER: PERMANENT CONTRACT

125-150 kCHF 6 kCHF to 14 kCHF variable margin

Job : Data Architect / Data Engineer (f/m/d)

To take an important step as an organization towards "Data Driven Decision Making", we are looking for a Data Architect / Data Engineer (f/m/d) for our site in Sempach.

As a business partner for all areas of the company, we see it as our core task at Finance & Controlling to provide information with high quality, accessibility and reusability in enterprise platforms. As part of our team, it will be your task to prepare data and data models for sophisticated applications and to realize innovative applications in close cooperation with the Data Science and Analytics team. You will develop existing as well as new data sources in cooperation with the international Data Engineering team of B. Braun.

Tasks and responsibilities

Design, development and operation of the internal Enterprise Data & Analytics platform.

Cleansing, integration and orchestration of Smart- and Big-Data from internal and external data sources

Create and improve data models and develop solutions for retrieving and transferring data using Azure Databricks

Advise and support Data Scientist and Analysts in the execution of projects in the area of advanced analytics and, in the future, artificial intelligence

Work in a highly motivated, local and global interdisciplinary team of data and analytics experts

One of your first projects will be to work on the development of a globally integrated quantity cockpit (from market demand to inventory control to production order)

Ideal profile

Professional competencies

You have a successfully completed degree in computer science / software engineering or a comparable education with a corresponding practical background

You have knowledge and experience in using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark and GIT

You are able to program in Python and SQL

Knowledge of SAP HANA / SAP BW is an advantage
