Within a bank operating in more than 30 countries, you will collaborate, under the supervision of the SRE manager, with a multidisciplinary team of 14 individuals within the IT department to ensure the maintenance of a high-quality database service.

Your challenges

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server database systems
• Ensure database performance (monitoring and optimization) and promptly resolve related issues
• Secure database systems and sensitive information
• Guarantee data integrity and availability
• Design and implement database solutions in collaboration with development teams, aligning with application requirements
• Perform database backups
• Strategic and technological monitoring
• Ensure seamless integration of database systems through collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Participate in on-call rotations
• Document database architecture, configurations, and processes

Your skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Proficiency in managing Oracle and SQL Server databases
• In-depth understanding of database administration (architecture, optimization, performance)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in scripting languages to automate routine database tasks
• Ability to work in a team
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in both French and English
