IPS-Integrated Project Services GmbH is a Basel-based planning and construction business with a focus on biopharmaceutical facilities. IPS is a global leader in the leadership and execution of advanced facilities engineering and design, with over 1,600 worldwide across 20 offices and 10 countries. Your Profile
  • Sound professional experience in plant construction (experience in the GMP environment is an advantage)
  • Well-founded technical training as well as further training as a safety assistant or safety specialist or SUVA
  • Native German speaker, good (B1+) in English
Your Tasks
  • Leadership of regional on-site construction projects
  • Coordination of bidding and contracting for construction projects
  • Development of procurement, safety and construction execution plans
  • Organization of construction site meetings to coordinate the trades involved
  • Issuing work permits and checking compliance with protective measures

IPS-Integrated Project Services GmbH ist ein in Basel ansässiges Beratungs- und Planungsunternehmen für alle Phasen von ingenieurtechnischen Ausführungsprojekten von Anlagen zur Herstellung von pharmazeutischen Produkten mit Schwerpunkt auf Biopharmazeutika. IPS ist mit über 1.600 Mitarbeitern weltweit in über 20 Büros und 10 Ländern führend in der Planung und Ausführung von komplexen Einrichtungen der pharmazeutischen Industrie. Ihr Profil
  • Fundierte Berufserfahrung im Anlagenbau (Erfahrung im GMP-Umfeld von Vorteil)
  • Fundierte technische Ausbildung sowie eine Weiterbildung als Sicherheitsassistenten/in oder Sicherheitsfachfrau/mann oder SUVA
  • Muttersprachler in Deutsch, gute Englischkenntnisse (B1+)
Ihre Aufgaben
  • Führung der regionalen Bau Projekte vor Ort
  • Koordination der Ausschreibung und Vergabe von Bauprojekten
  • Entwicklung von Beschaffungs-, Sicherheits- und Bauausführungsplänen
  • Organisation von Baustellensitzungen zur Koordination der beteiligten Gewerke
  • Ausstellungen von Arbeitsfreigaben und Kontrolle der Einhaltung der Schutzmassnahmen

Qualifications & Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS /WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT AND SAFETY
  • This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.
  • Position may be assigned to client site for an extended period of time.
  • Overnight travel or staying in the city of Client’s location is possible depending on assignment. Please review IPS Travel Policy.
  • Position will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules.
  • Position will visit construction sights and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules.
  • This position is a safety sensitive position.
  • The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for field work.
