Job purpose

Our e-Commerce team is on the look out for a superstare-Commerce Commercial Specialist who enjoys analysing information and making recommendations to improve the way we do things. Thee-Commerce CommercialSpecialist, Europe is an equal blend of strategy, analysis, and execution and works closely with multiple internal departments and vendors to manage the commercial site. This includes management of online performance, playing a central role in onsite commercial and merchandising efforts, analyzing online market, online campaigns and competitive trends. Will also be an owner of the strategy and execution behind site usability, holistically using site navigation, category refinement tools, and user data to ensure CG.com delivers a leading customer experience.
  • Optimize website traffic & conversion rate
  • Perform periodical reviews and analyses of the current performances through Google Analytics, metrics and KPI monitoring to optimize European site and improve discoverability
  • Evaluate the performance of product categories, selections, cross-selling and up-selling strategies
  • Collaborate with global ecommerce teams to develop localized commercial strategies
  • Must take a proactive approach to maximizing website usability and engage in ongoing competitor analysis
  • Act as platform expert from a business user perspective to advise and inform during business planning
  • Creates operational and user analysis reporting focused on sales and user behavior
  • Collaborates within the organization and continuously shares user insights to relevant lines of business
  • Conducts discovery and requirements gathering for: ecommerce business operations, digital channel enhancements, new market entry, and custom projects as required
  • Conducts user acceptance testing for digital channels and new functionality development
  • Continuously review customer feedbacks on products and take appropriate actions
  • 2nd level support during high season
  • Monitor inventory level and collaborate with the planning team

Experience, Education and Designations:
  • A post-secondary degree in business, marketing or digital/ecommerce field or the equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities
  • 2 years’ experience in ecommerce

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Google Analytics, Power BI and Excel
  • Autonomous and commercial mindset
  • Ability to juggle conflicting priorities while completing projects successfully
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Extremely strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with global business partners, other team members, and various levels of management
  • Understanding of company organization, products and related industry knowledge
  • Working knowledge of system development methodologies
  • Experience with SFCC is a plus
  • Highly motivated self-starter that has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
