For our Monthey Site, the reference site for the Advanced Materials division

The position is based in Monthey/Switzerland

General Accountabilities And Responsibilities
  • ensure consistency and improvement in site operations by promoting safety, health, environmental sustainability, and quality
  • actively promote and support our “Zero Harm” culture
  • foster and develop excellence in EHSQ at Site level
  • provide expertise and support on the field to the different site departments
  • perform audits, assessments, and investigations
  • define CaPa and deploy best in class EHSQ practices
  • develop and provide EHSQ trainings
  • prepare EHSQ driven CAPEX requests
  • work closely with QA department to ensure Monthey Site Quality Management System conforms to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF requirements
  • ensure proper EHSQ KPI’s/LI’s reporting to Division/Corporation
Education, Experience And Specific Skills
  • SUVA degree (or recognized equivalent degree) as “Safety Engineer CFST” or “Chargé de Sécurité MSST”.
  • Certified auditor ISO 9001, 14001, IATF or 45001 is a plus
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a chemical environment
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the application of the most important quality instruments such as FMEA, SPC/SQC, PPAP, MSA, APQP, RCA preferably in the chemical industry
  • Experience with the automotive industry is a plus
  • Flexibility and readiness to adapt continuously to changing environments
  • Ability to explain and transmit complex messages and tasks in simple terms and actions
  • Fluency in English and French, both verbal and written. Fluency in German is a plus.
