Export Compliance Specialist

What you do
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable export control regulations in order to guarantee on time deliveries from and to Pilatus
  • Obtaining, managing and monitoring export licenses throughout the supply chains in compliance with regulations, including issuing, obtaining and administrating required End-User Certificates (EUC)
  • Support planning and sourcing of export controlled items in line with production plan and customer services
  • Product classifications of Pilatus manufactured and externally sourced goods (commodities / software / technology / services) in compliance with all applicable export control regulations
  • Executing sanctioned party screenings and / or embargo & sanctions verifications
  • Maintaining SAP GTS software as well as managing business processes within the system as one of the key users and process owners
  • Conducting cross-functional export compliance as well as related trade compliance training to increase awareness and understanding within Pilatus
What you bring
  • Completed trade related education as well as a minimum of 5 years of professional experience with focus on export control (export / import / customs)
  • Professional experience in an international industrial company
  • Expertise in international trade and export control laws (Swiss, European and US regulations - EAR and ITAR)
  • Intermediate to advanced SAP GTS and MS Office software skills including Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Very good German and English skills (both verbal and written)
  • Highly attentive to details and persistent person that is able to work independently and with an eye for the bigger picture
