Lead the Global Procurement function for the Division, setting a new SCM strategy and acting as global authority and final reference point. Direct leadership for SCM portion of global transformation program “IAPI RISE”.

This position reports to the Division Operations Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Develops, sets, and leads Division supply strategy, objectives and targets in alignment with ABB Group strategy
• Leads projects of significant profile in the SCM field and solves critical strategic and functional questions/ problems across the Division. Leads the SCM workstream of IAPI RISE program with goal to substantially re-wire the supply chain for key solutions in selected customer verticals.
• Prepares annual budgets for the Group Function and global projects and is accountable for their execution and achievement. Monitors specific function-related costs across all countries.
• Maintains an external awareness and perspective and acts as the acknowledged Division expert, with consulting responsibility on functional area knowledge and trends.
• Defines global function Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), sets benchmark, key objectives and targets, and delivers results to division management and external stakeholders. Ensures that division’s performance for the function is regularly reported and audited.
• Defines, in close consultation with the GPGs (Global Product Group), HUBs and PL(Project Leader) Centers, an appropriate organizational structure to support execution of the business’s strategies, aligned with Division goals, imperatives and guidelines.
• Contributes to effective risk management by providing advice to senior management on key ABB Group/ BA/ Division policy decisions.
  

Your background

• University degree
• Minimum of 15 years experience from Industrial system project business
• Minimum 5 years experience from Complex supply chain in Electrical and Automation system markets.
• Fluent English
• Ability to lead the organization with a focus on longer term strategic planning and policy development
• Clear focus on organizational leadership
• Strong influencing skills and results-driven
