IB Middle Years Humanities and IB Diploma Business teacher

Haut-Lac international bilingual school (K-12 with around 600 students) near Vevey (Vaud), Switzerland invites applications from IB Diploma Business and IB Middle Years Humanities Teachers to join the school from mid-August 2023. Applicants should be enthusiastic educators with experience of teaching in international schoolsand have an interest in promoting extra-curricular activities to our students.

Your profile :

  • Degree in Humanities or equivalent title ;
  • A Secondary PGCE or teaching certificate;
  • Mastery of educational technological tools (iPad, distance learning platforms, etc.);
  • Teaching experience of the MYP and DP programmes preferred;
  • A passionate educator;
  • Preferred experience of a pastoral role;
  • A working knowledge of French; higher proficiency preferred.
  • Preferred: able to teach a second humanity at DP level.

Your mission :

  • Teaching History and Geography in the MYP programme in English
  • Teaching Business and Management in the IB Diploma programme in English
  • Participating actively in the extracurricular life of the school
