Join Credit Suisse Investor Services IT as a Service Manager for the SaaS based Investment Guideline Monitoring platform for Global custody and funds business domains. An exciting role, The Service manager will be responsible for the management of a critical IT service for Credit Suisse Investor Services business.

  • Supervise and manage a technical interface between Credit Suisse and the Service provider with crucial market data, reference data, static data and transactional data dependencies from large Credit Suisse systems
  • As the service is newly being built, in the initial stages, there may be issues and bugs that must be reported. The Service Manager understands critical data dependencies and immediately hits the ground running to find solutions to critical business and IT problems
  • Manages the SLA between the business and IT and IT and Service provider in terms of KPIs and non-functional requirements fulfillment such as loads, volumes, response times, user issues
  • Attends service review meetings with business heads and service provider heads to provide feedback towards the quality of the service in quarterly or monthly reviews
  • Active participant in change the bank initiatives with the service provider (examples, obtaining estimates, reviewing requirements, testing, UAT etc…)
  • Always operates with an overview of the architecture and business principles in terms of the service
  • The system itself is a risk system with focus on post trade compliance of funds transactions with market data, swaps, equities, issuer data, ratings, fixed income bond data, collateral and SLB transactions – so the possibility to learn advanced level banking constructs is the main benefit of this role

Your skills and experience
  • Passionate for Post Trade Compliance & Risk systems, running aspects of IT and providing a critical, efficient and timely service for the business
  • University Degree with a background in Financial Services Industry & Information Technology, additional financial education like CFA, CAIA is nice but not required
  • Several years of experience in the capital markets as a requirements engineer or a change the bank project participant as Business Analyst, Project Manager, Developer with relevant feature build of software
  • Your analytical skills enable you to troubleshoot and supervise a large IT installation with federated responsibility between Credit Suisse and a vendor, reduce the communication gaps and focus on important deliveries making all parties successful
  • You have a strong team focus with very good communication skills and enjoy to proactively take initiative to handle issues with production support, IT, business, compliance and other facets of the bank
  • You are a highly motivated and multifaceted financial professional with a reliable personality for whom meritocracy and ownership are key values and a strong team player who enjoys working in a very experienced team
  • You have strong quantitative skills (ideally understand software engineering)
  • Proficiency in English, German skills are a plus
