IT Supervisor

Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the old town, within the main business centre, close to the city’s leisure attractions and a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. Set to open end of 2023, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich will feature 80 guestrooms and suites and three dining outlets, comprising an all-day dining venue, a speciality restaurant, and a lobby lounge. The property is ideally placed for meetings and gatherings, and the renovation will enhance conference and event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

The IT Supervisor will report to the ITDirectorand is responsible for:

• Serve as first line support for guests and hotel colleagues
• Perform daily system maintenance work to provide a robust and stable IT system
• Perform IT maintenance tasks on end points, IT infrastructure, telecommunication technologies, hotel operation applications
• Provide support for meetings and conventions in the hotel
• Provide training and guidance for IT specialist
• Perform daily information security tasks as required
• Follow up vulnerability findings and rectify the issues
• Replace or upgrade end of life technology and ensure all EOL technologies are upgraded/replaced before the expiration date
• Manage end point protection tools and ensure all agents are installed and security controls are enforced
• Follow up assigned project tasks and ensure it is completed on time
• Attend project meetings and report task status

What are we looking for:

• Previous experience as IT Specialist
• Experience with supporting Windows based server and desktop platform
• Experience with supporting LAN and WLAN environment
• Fluent in German and English
• Ability to pay attention to details and a natural problem solver
• Good time management skills and able to multi task
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and work efficiently within a team as well
• Has customer centric mindset and ability to support guests as required
• Knowledge of the technology used in hospitality industry is a plus
• The successful candidate must already be eligible to work in Switzerland
