The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city’s leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.
As an IT Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assisting and supporting the IT Manager, colleagues and hotel guests in the use of the IT infrastructure, IT needs and requests
- Handling the full Range of Network support and administration services including Windows 2012-2016 Server, Hyper-V, VMWare, Windows 10, Cisco, LAN/WAN infrastructure, Office365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
- IT Security: Participating in implementing MOHG Security policy, network security
- Telephone systems Support: Basic PABX Support (troubleshooting, replace phones, call Flow Administration, reporting)
- Managing the maintenance of the hotel’s computer and telephone system
- Installing workstations and other equipment as required
- IT Support for Meeting Rooms / Events
As an IT Supervisor, we expect from you:
- A Degree in Information technology, Computer Science, etc.
- At least 1 year working experience in IT support, ideally in upscale hospitality
- Excellent Microsoft Advanced Knowledge in Microsoft OS (W10, MS Server)
- Good Knowledge in Computer / network hardware and software maintenance
- Knowledge in iOS and MAC OS, ideally as well in MCSA (Microsoft Certification) CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- Knowledge about latest IT Technologies (Mobile Devices, A/V, etc.)
- Professional and appropriate business appearance and presentation
- Excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
- Innovative, Rigorous, able to work on different projects and with a team
- Capability to resolve complex problems
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and German
