Team Description

The Switzerland coverage team is responsible for Switzerland based HQ Corporates. The TS Sales role and responsibility combines managing existing client relationships globally and building new business. The teams work closely with the various Payments/TS product areas of Core Cash, Liquidity Management, Trade, FX, Escrow, Merchant Services and Commercial Card product teams - as well as with the Global Corporate Bank and Investment Bank teams to manage bank-wide client relationships. The team is accountable for sales initiatives to increase including delivery of the firm to the in-country client franchise and growing cross-border revenues.

Role Description

The TS Sales Associate will be part of the local coverage team working closely with the local and regional Treasury Services and Corporate Banking teams, as well as with clients and internal partners, assisting them with maintaining, developing, execution and service of global client relationships.

The TS Sales Associate is an individual contributor role, primarily responsible for developing business from under penetrated clients/prospects in addition to maintain relationship with key, strategic and high profile clients and grow the team portfolio, in line with business plan through selling treasury Payments solutions products.

The ability to liaise and collaborate across J.P. Morgan is critical to optimise product and service delivery whilst developing, maintaining and enhancing the relationships with the clients.

This role will include:

Sales Support

  • Support Sales Executives to achieve new business goals, including the annual sales plan by identifying opportunities, developing the approach/calling plans with existing and prospect clients
  • Work on compelling financial and market analysis to support proposals for new business
  • Be the official back up of Sales Executives for clients to any queries
  • Support the team through ad hoc project work and analysis
  • Provide assistance to ensure clients are receiving agreed services
  • Manage pipeline of opportunities, analysing and updating key revenue and pipeline data in order to deliver monthly reports to senior management
  • Support team with organizing client forums and hospitality events
  • Remain intellectually curious in terms of innovative payments technology and industry trends and keeping abreast of the evolving regulatory environment

Deal Support
  • Work with Sales Executives to prepare and review marketing material (client proposals, pitch books, presentations and slip sheets) for Sales ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistency
  • Take ownership for the end-to-end deal management process
  • Work closely with Sales, Implementation, Product and Client Service teams to collate relevant and accurate information to kick-off deal implementation process
  • Support the team to manage the client on boarding processes
  • Support Sales Executives in KYC responsibilities

Skills & Experience:
  • Relevant experience in Payments/Cash Management
  • Product/solution set knowledge relevant to the market
  • Demonstrated track record of collaboration across bank (or former employer) especially with relationship bankers, product, service and operations partners
  • Demonstrates personal accountability and ownership for everything we do for our clients, including ensuring we always do the right thing
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in German and English, French would be a plus
  • Ability to assist in the design, sale and delivery of value-added services and complex global Payments solutions
  • Competence in assessing new opportunities/prospecting, contacting key decision makers
  • Relevant account planning and demonstrated execution experience
  • Comprehension of customer’s industries, business needs and potential solutions
