Summary
The Junior Trader will execute the futures trading of the sugar platform, both internally and externally. He/she will provide validation, insights and analysis regarding our position situation and evolution, as well as market order flow perceptions.
Main Responsibilities

  • Complete the daily NTR reports and confirm the position changes.

  • Produce our expected pit position and circulate to the cash trading team on at least a weekly basis.

  • Provide a first-class futures execution service for our clients, which includes:
1. Learn how to execute trades using Fidessa / brokers;
2. Responsible for all client pricing orders, in a timely matter;
3. Provide clear and punctual recaps for trades executed for client.

  • Take over the weekly hedge desk research reports, which includes:
1. Weekly positioning / COT report;
2. Daily pricing client pricing reports;
3. Weekly flat price cockpit;
4. Daily positioning changes (CTA, signal).
Experiences

  • Any prior experience in trading execution or middle office is a plus.
Skills

  • Strong analytical / quantitative skills, proactive and problem-solving mindset;
  • Detailed oriented and critical thinking with the ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster relationships;
  • Quick learner and willingness to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficient with MS office tools, particularly Excel;
  • Any knowledge of Python/programming skills is a plus;
  • Any knowledge of Fidessa/WebIce is a plus.

Education

  • University degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics or Trading)
