Your ‘day to day’

The Manager, Product Security Program supports the Security & Market Safety team and the Senior Manager, Global Security Programs in the development and delivery of PMI Product Security objectives, goals, and strategies worldwide, with functional scope inclusive of

• End-to-end standards, governance, assurance
• Standards development;
• Program quality assurance;
• Partner management;
• Training and capability building;
• Data capture and reporting.
  

This role is global in scope and supports the Global Security Programs Manager to develop, build, sustain, and promote global product security strategies.

You will

• Define, align and establish governance and systems to support the team’s global strategy to achieve outstanding standards. Upgrade and manage PMI Security and Market Safety’s management systems focused on the product security organisation
• Develop processes and standards to carry out assessments and audits for key PMI suppliers. Apply and integrate existing and new digital tools. Contribute to the creation of reports for mandatory and voluntarily reporting
• Under the direction of the Global Security Programs Manager, oversees assigned projects of global importance
• Redesign of product security management programs;
• Centralized oversight and assurance of product security operations;
• Standardization and programmatic delivery of content to regions/markets;
• Development and implementation of key performance indicators and related metrics.
• Strengthen central oversight and support to regions/markets, following direction from the Global Security Programs Manager
• Manage complex security initiatives and facilitates efficient communication across all levels of a project to ensure consistency in reaching the goal, and to help in the recognition of any potential opportunities, risks or complications
• Promote a strong culture of governance and produces appropriate product security governance documentation, in line with PMI Principles & Practices, to support projects and programs. Supports overall program management office with documentation, including but not limited to standards and procedures
• Represent PMI Security & Market Safety to internal partners on discussions of global significance. Act as a point of contact for procurement processes for the Product and Innovation teams, to ensure Product Security measures are appropriately implemented at supplier sites. Supports the Global Security Programs Manager in providing oversight to key product security service providers
• Find opportunities to work with cross-functional teams and sustains strong cross-functional partnerships
• Support the build-out for and promotion of a culture of security awareness across the Product and Innovation organisations
• Facilitate sharing of best practice across regions, affiliates, and markets
• Ability to demonstrate a balance between initiative and receiving and adapting to continuous feedback.
  

We are looking for

• University degree; further professional certification or graduate education a plus
• 10-12 years in a corporate security management, security technology management, or key account management role with a security vendor, preferably with regional or global experience
• Prefer previous experience in a multinational company with exposure to cutting edge corporate security practices
• Ability to build consensus across a matrixed organizations; strong interpersonal skills
• Past experience creating content including policies and procedures
• General awareness of political, security, and operational trends which may affect PMI
• Knowledge of industry best practices; experience working with external partners/providers a plus
• Training or certifications in security risk management and/or project management a plus
• Full professional proficiency in English; additional language skills a plus but not required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Mission driven; high level of personal and professional integrity
• Previous international work experience preferred
