PurposeThe Master Data Operation Team Lead position is responsible for Regional Master Data granting process (Vendor, Customer, Pricing) including the consistent application of data quality, accuracy, timeliness, completeness with the goal of maximizing the company operational and financial performance, while reducing the financial risk.
The Master Data Operation Team centrally supports business functions, ensuring compliance with business rules & regulations by increasing finance service level. You will directly manage a team of 6 Master Data Administrator/Specialist and are in constant link with the Master Data project team.
The position is based in Villars-sur-Glâne (Fribourg) for an indeterminate period, starting in April 2022.
Your Main Responsibilities
The Master Data Operation Manager responsibilities are as follows:
- Define priorities and organize appropriate resource allocation to achieve objectives
- Ensure employees’ skills and competences are aligned with required service level
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals, delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback
- Foster team spirit and synergy among department members to embrace diversity, cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed
- Maintain transparent communication and provide organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meeting and regular interpersonal communication
- Manage the overall daily Master Data Operation’s responsibilities and activities, ensure content and process compliance with internal control objectives, master data business rules and system requirements
- Plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency and output.
- Establish and maintain relevant controls to monitor the operation delivery performance, compliance and governance
- Monitor that internal control processes are carried out in a timely manner and execute assigned actions
- Support to the daily operations when needed as back up of the operation team,
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- You have a minimum 4 years proven experience in People Management
- You are structured, organized, rigorous and quality driven
- You know how to manage priorities whilst remaining service oriented
- Good communication, diplomacy and influencing skills are part of you
- Excellent knowledge of SAP SD, MM and MDG Master data or equivalent ERP
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, migration tools is a strong plus
- You are fluent in English and French (any additional language is a strong plus)
