About the job

This role allows you to work closely with the global Procurement team. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our business and actively contribute to our ambitious pursuit of growth.

We are looking for a highly motivated colleague with an agile mindset to become part of our Procurement team based in Aarburg, Switzerland. Your supervisor will be the Head of Procurement Excellence & Opertions Sustainability.





You will be part of our Graduate and Early Career Program (GEC) of 18 months, which enables you to:

Your tasks

Drive and support various procurement transformation projects, aimed at driving procurement excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Your projects will vary in terms of content and breadth and will include:




  • Drive and support activities for the ongoing implementation of the Procurement Operating Model and identified procurement capabilities.

  • Identify, develop and execute activities to improve Source-to-Pay processes and required enablers, such as supporting tools, templates, and technologies.

  • Drive the ongoing procurement people capability building and upskilling programmes and facilitate the overall change management agenda supporting the procurement transformation.

  • Facilitate policy implementation, monitoring policy adoption and drive the agenda for procurement governance, risk management and compliance.

  • Support the benefits tracking governance routines to ensure that procurement sourcing projects identified will be delivered against plan and annual savings targets.

  • Define, execute, and embed the Supplier Relationship Management capability.

  • Support the formulation of the category strategy, procurement strategy implementation and sourcing execution for Marketing & Communication and Human Resources (Corporate Services) categories, including:

    • Collection and analysis of data, specifically on category spend, current suppliers, service providers or marketing agencies to assess category opportunities and various impacts on all marketing and human resources group activities.

    • Map current suppliers, service providers or marketing agencies portfolio and spend for all Division per sub-categories directly impacted by the category strategy or business requirements.

    • Validate and challenge internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) defined in a cross functional sourcing team that may comprise of teams from internal business/functional stakeholders and procurement.

    • Contribute to the elaboration of the strategy for the respective categories.

    • Lead the preparation of the material for RFx (Request for Proposal/Quote/Information), including development of briefing documents, cost template and assessment criteria.

    • Support supplier selection and fact-based negotiations.




Requirements

  • You have completed your Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain Management or equivalent

  • You have gained your first working experience​​ (max 2 years)

  • Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite, other languages are an asset ​

  • You demonstrate genuine interest in our business and are eager to discover and learn about different functions and roles within Franke​​

  • You can function well in ambiguity and can manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity

  • You can function well in cross-functional teams/topics within procurement (Direct categories, Indirect categories and divisional procurement) and other functional areas (e.g. Supply Chain, Information Technology, etc.)

  • You have good organizational, project management & change management skills

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills​

  • You are a team player and an agile learner​

  • You are willing to push yourself out of your comfort zone 

  • You are excited about being part of a global team and turning ideas into action

  • You are proactive and you have a learning and committed mindset
