Your field of responsibility



A challenging and varied role as Legal Counsel within the General Counsel division in Zürich with focus on our Asset Management businesses (e.g. equities, fixed income, index and real estate). In this role you will have an opportunity to advise on new products and new business initiatives, individual transactions, relevant international laws and regulations, regulatory developments, supervisory and governance structures. Furthermore, you will have responsibility for deal negotiation and coordination of legal aspects of investment transactions undertaken by Credit Suisse managed funds in an international environment including drafting and negotiation of relevant agreements and coordination of local and international law firms. You will also advise within a FINMA regulated environment with exposure to regulatory regimes of other jurisdictions. The role offers an opportunity to advise on the legal and governance framework for the business units covered and you will take responsibility for the legal risk management with respect to the products, business transactions, business conduct, and regulatory initiatives and projects.

Your skills and experience



You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive and can-do attitude who enjoys handling multiple challenging priorities and assignments and who offers:

  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • adaptable and can-do attitude and effective communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with participants from multiple functional areas and leadership levels
  • structured, dedicated way of working, and motivated to initiate and drive projects and matters forward to resolution, able to work autonomously yet being a collaborative colleague
  • fluency in English with the ability to draft and negotiate contracts in English language essential; knowledge of German is an advantage
  • international degree in Law
  • dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
