Requirement Engineer

The Swiss Universal Bank IT (SUB IT) organization is responsible for developing, maintaining and strategically transforming the SUB’s application portfolio in close collaboration with our business sponsors. SUB IT applications technical landscape has key technologies like Java, Angular 7, Spring Boot Microservices, Big-Data and Mainframes related technologies. There are also products like PEGA, Appway and Wealth Manager Platform. We follow Agile and DevOps methodology to efficiently manage the development and delivery of technology.

This is part of the strategic decision to build BPP Platform to deliver the Direct Banking Product Offerings. BPP Platform will deliver across Avanti : Entry Product Offering, New Banking Product Offering, Corporate Bundles, Kids Bundle, Bundle Automation etc. As BPP Platform is a brand-new engagement, these roles are very crucial to deliver Direct Banking breakthroughs.

• Leading squads as Requirement Engineer
• Understanding and experience on the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Interpreting a set of technical requirements and turn them into robust solutions
• Collaborating with business partners in the creation of business requirements and functional specification
• Identifying systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
• Transforming business requirements into good user stories
• Collaborating with Team/SA/PO/SM
• Working with core and satellite squads along with full blown Agile methodologies

We are looking for vibrant and dynamic individual who is experienced in writing business requirements, executing operational tasks while strengthening business consulting skills.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a requirement engineer
• Technical understanding of web development and web application integration
• Able to translate business requirements to technical solutions
• Ability to define detailed functional and technical specification using flow diagrams
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Scaled Agile Frame work (SAFe) and Scrum
• Knowledge of task management, bug tracking and wiki-based documents tools like JIRA
• Ability to plan and manage the requirement phase
• Extensive experience of software delivery projects from inception to production support
• Working experience in agile projects
• Excellent analytical, communication skills
• Self-motivated, can do attitude and the ability to learn on the go
• Team player with experience working with international and cross functional teams
