Restaurant Manager

Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the old town, within the main business centre, close to the city’s leisure attractions and a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. Set to open end of 2023, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich will feature 80 guestrooms and suites and three dining outlets, comprising an all-day dining venue, a speciality restaurant, and a lobby lounge. The property is ideally placed for meetings and gatherings, and the renovation will enhance conference and event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

In this role you will be responsible for leading the restaurant team to deliver memorable experiences through positive interactions with guests, anticipating their needs and delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the restaurant operation, you will manage and monitor work quality and guest satisfaction and manage the department P&L.

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager who will be able to delight our guests and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as Restaurant Manager of a medium-high volume restaurant. Previous or current experience in Zurich would be an advantage. You will have exemplary leadership skills, be able to converse easily in German and English, and have a natural flair for hosting guests in your restaurant.
