Your field of responsibility


You will have the chance to take over a challenging and diverse role as a Senior Compliance Officer within the Compliance team of Credit Suisse Asset Management (Switzerland) Ltd. (“CSAM”) in Zurich.
In this function you will be supporting the Chief Compliance Officer to build an effective and efficient compliance program. Thereby, you help to ensure that the compliance framework and strategy of CSAM is properly implemented and aligned to the relevant regulatory and Credit Suisse’ standards.
The role includes to provide constructive, clear and concise compliance advice to the business areas in their transformation as well as to take over new business projects and initiatives that pose compliance considerations.
You will also support the functional strategic alignment with other divisions of Credit Suisse and therefore work closely with many different Compliance teams.

The CSAM Compliance team in Zurich is a dynamic, focused and experienced team that works together to support the full range of CSAM’s asset management services and product offerings. This is a unique opportunity to join and add value to a heterogeneous compliance team that covers the full spectrum of Asset Management’s related activities in Switzerland.


Your skills and experience


You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience (min. 3 years in a senior position) with a financial services institution or BIG4 (ideally within regulatory consultancy, Compliance or audit background) with an exposure to asset or investment management activities.
Additionally the successful candidate will convince us with the following competences:

  • A University degree in Finance, Law, Economics or similar
  • In-depth understanding of business objectives and how those translate into compliance priorities to deliver advice and guidance to the business and CCOs
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a global, matrixed organization with multiple functions, together with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, professional maturity, and personal integrity
  • Very good understanding of the Swiss laws, regulations and regulatory practices pertaining to the asset management and fund industry
  • Experience, confidence, resilience and gravitas to work with senior executives and establish rapport with key stakeholders, continually seeking voice of internal customers
  • An inquisitive mind with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills combined with strong project management skills
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluent German is considered as strong plus
