Your field of responsibility


Join us as Senior Financial Planner in a dynamic wealth and estate-planning environment in Zürich. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other Senior Structuring Lawyers and Specialists in formulating and implementing be-spoke succession and tax planning solutions for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) individuals. You will work with Product Specialists in identifying business opportunities for the further development of wealth and estate planning solutions and support as the main responsible SME relevant project and initiatives from a legal and tax angle. You will maintain a relevant tax, country and product-offering framework including policy and procedures.

Your skills and experience


You’ll be a good match, if you have:

  • University degree in law (bar exam and advanced degrees in international tax would be an advantage)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in tax, trusts, and/or estate planning.
  • UK trust and private client tax planning experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Outstanding working knowledge of trusts and their uses for international clients.
  • Have a basic understanding of corporate and property law concepts in the context of trust structuring.
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
  • An understanding of basic tax principles and systems of taxation, experience in an international tax practice incl. if possible UK tax planning.
  • Focus on service and proactive approach to handling tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Possess the ability to independently handle multiple tasks across a number of subject areas.
  • Must be fluent in English, any other language skills (e.g. German, French, Spanish) would be a distinct advantage although not necessary.
