DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to help us improve and support our new R&D infrastructure. We are actively improving our development and test environment on a daily basis. In this role, you will be a technical expert for our development environment ecosystem. You will act as a gateway between the engineer needs and the Global IT by deploying and maintaining R&D specific services.

Your tasks

  • Active contact with global IT services to act as a facilitator
    • Improve and advice on tools
    • Coordinate with global IT to optimize support and communicate the needs
    • Adapt IT environment to software production process
  • Maintain, upgrade and test regularly the R&D services used by a team of 40 people
    • Upgrade, test and deploy services updates
    • Backup management and regular restoration verification
    • Manage access rights
    • Maintain the HW infrastructure and collect usage statistics to foresee the needs
    • Improve the overall security (ex. SSL everywhere, Virus scanning )
    • Infrastructure overview: plan the migration of old services, suggest new services, and demonstrate them
    • Manage license servers and license updates
    • Maintain our test computers (~100) up to date (Linux and Windows)
    • Ex. Buildbot, redmine, database, web frontend for test DB, Statistics, monitoring etc
  • Support continuous integration by managing build servers and workers, and controlling launch of updates
  • Advice on FOSS licenses


Your profile

  • BSc in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience
  • Strong experience with Ansible and Docker
  • Experience in Python, PowerShell, and Bash
  • Expert level on Debian / Ubuntu / Windows System Administration
  • Good understanding of Nginx, MariaDB, Redmine, Git, Gitea
  • Comfortable with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment
  • Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment
  • Excellent command of English
